New formula (Aug, 2008) is no good

This has given my young dog persistent loose stools. My older dog also had problems with loose stools on the adult formula, which was immediately rectified by a change to Innova. See the large number of serious complaints on the web about the new formulation before buying.

Switched Formula

Take care if choosing this food as they recently released a new formula that has more grains and has resulted in the superpoops for my dog that I have been feeding canidae for 2 years.

Canidae rocks

My Weimeraner loves Canidae dry food. It's healthy for her and leaves her always wanting more. Highly recommend it and it's worth the cost.

Do the math...

A two-dollar, Macdonald's quarter-pounder divided into 40 lbs. is approx. 160 grease pits at $320. I did not factor in the bun, pickles or L&T, but left off the tax to compensate.Whatever; I'd rather eat this bag for $40; and that goes double for the hounds.

Great food!

Both of my large breed dogs love Canidae. I actually have to limit how much they can eat or they will make themselves sick by eating so much! The ingredients are wonderful and actually contains stuff I would eat myself. I would recommend this food for any animal lover.

My bassett hound LOVES his food now...

Canidae has definetly proven to be a tasty, balanced source of food for my dog.Initially i had started my new pup on IAMS because of its popularity - but after reading the ingredient list and hearing the the IAMS corporation had just been sold (therefore not keeping the quality of their product)...
