Great HDTV DVR
Would have given it 5 stars if not for the system locking up three times in the past month. Had to do a soft restart to get things going. Read on the net that this is most likely caused by the recent software download.

How did I live without Tivo?
This is my 4th TIVO unit in my house. We never miss a show and never run out of room with the extra hard drives. We had the cable companies DVR's in the past and they don't even come close to TIVO.

Don't watch more TV, watch *better* TV.
I seriously would have canceled my cable by now if not for the Tivo. There are shows I like, but I simply can't bring myself to schedule the time to sit down at 8pm to watch something and then sit there through all the commercials.
