Ideal

I take pictures at pow wows and have been waiting for full control camera that had over 10 mp and a super zoom lens. As most of my shots are at ground level the flexible monitor is great. An SLR didn't get it as in seconds I need to switch from subjects 8' then 150' with lots of action. No time...

buy it , its worth it ... Updated on Oct 11, 2008 with the 8GB card you will get 1,400 @ the top setting and 48,800 @ the lowest setting ... i love the Lexar SDHD cards ...

disappointment

the camera is not worth even a fraction of the price...very sophisticated menu but a simpler camera (HP) makes much better pictures...bottom line :it is a rip off!

This camera will do anything you want to do, and do it well. If you want to use it as a point and shoot, it excels at that. If you want to use it as a DSL replacement, it excels at that too. Great zoom, great sensor, great features, and good price. I can't say enough good things about it....

Sporting a gigantic 14.3x optical zoom lens and a robust black plastic body, you could be forgiven for mistaking the FujiFilm S100fs for an SLR. But although it is larger than some SLRs on the market, this unit doesn’t quite go all the way. It falls
