The book is a nice daily read but I don't really consider it a devotional. I feel more like I am reading someone's daily journal. I enjoy the daily bible verses. I do get something out of those. If you don't mind feeling like you are reading someone else's thoughts then this is probably a good...

Daily Word for Weight Loss is a good "devotional" for anyone who wants to learn to feed their hungers in a way that is wise. Mostly it's encouragement -- not a book saying all the same things in all the same ways.Although this book comes from a christian source, I did not find it didactic. I...

Excellent to help you focus
I read this book every morning, and it helps me to focus on what I need to do to lose weight and to get closer to God. It is excellent. Dieters need all of the help that is available, and this book helps.
