How to submit your Smarter.com Product File
There are 4 ways to submit your SPF:
First you must access your account at https://sam.smarter.com
(If you have forgotten you username or password, please visit: https://sam.smarter.com/forget_password.php)
Click on the 'Datafeed' Tab
Click on the text 'Datafeed Submission' in the lightly shaded grey area
Pick your product 'Channel' from the pull down menu in Section A:
MIX (all products)
- CE (Consumer Electronics)
- BMV (Books, Music, Video, Games)
- Clothing & Accessories
- Home & Garden
- Musical Instruments
- Flowers, Gifts & Gourmet
- Sporting Goods & Outdoors
1.Submit a web address where your datafeed is located
ex: http://www.bigcomputerstore.com/datafeed.php
2.Request a FTP location from Smarter.com.
Submit your email address and you will receive an email shortly with your FTP location.
ex: janedoe@bigcomputerstore.com
3. Smarter.com will retrieve your Datafeed
Provide Smarter.com with your:
- Host Name
- Username
- Password
- Path
- File Name
* Make sure this file is available 24 hours, 7 days a week
4. Upload your datafeed into the (SAM) system
Click on the 'Browse' button, and locate the file within you computer.
Once any of these four steps are completed, press the 'SUBMIT' button at the bottom of the page. You will receive confirmation of your datafeed submission.
