We bought this for our 6-months-old son. It's not a hit. The problem is that the tail consists of very hard and large pieces that barely bend. The kid has a hard time grabbing the toy and cannot really manipulate with any elements....

My baby loves this thing! We usually hang it from the carseat handle - she can't see it in the car when the handle's retracted, but when we're out and about she can see it and smack at it. When they're too small they'll probably ignore...
