Petzl Vasak Leverlock Crampons

Crampons built for traditional mountaineering, the Petzl Vasak Leverlock Crampons are designed for mountain and glacial travel. The Vasak provides comfort for walking and plenty of power for glacier climbing. The Vasak's semi-rigid design flexes a bit for a more natural gait and is extremely versatile. Length adjustment is tool-less and fast in support of your choice of footwear and also suggests the possibility of sharing crampons with a partner.These come with two flat front points for increased bearing power, thin-sectioned points for good penetration on ice, the next two points are inclined to give stability. The ten walking points are separated to respect the asymmetry of the boots and to limit the "rail" effect which increases the risk of slipping. Leverlock, for boots with heel welts.
