What a waste of money and space!

We got this for my son for Christmas - what a waste. I gave it 2 stars for educational value because it taught him to be careful what he wishes for. He had wanted this for months, and was thrilled when he opened it. We put it all together and then waited....and waited....and waited....for three...

Seems to have worked for me

This item seemed to work just fine for me... as long as I have patience. I am NOT naturally very good with living things, but have had some success with these carnivorous critters (so far).got this item as Xmas gift 25th December 2007.8th February 2008, finally got around to "stratification"-...

Just plant the $25 in the dirt

I got this kit in the hopes of having a great unique garden; what I have is a little domed dish of dirt that smells funky. I spent the 8 weeks conditioning the soil in a cold garage, then put it out after the last frost (when I put all my 'normal' plants out). I checked regularly, and had my...

Great project

I bought this as an early Christmas present for myself. It sounded like a lot of responsibility, but I figured I could handle it. I did everything exactly as the instruction booklet said. I even read up on CPs...books and websites. I put the dome in the fridge for 2 months and on a nice...

Carnivorous Creations

I don't yet know exactly how I would rate this product... the box doesn't tell the whole truth.. it takes 8 weeks for the seeds to sprout, and they must be kept in the fridge. I now have to arrange my fridge contents around a dirt-filled terrarium for 6 more weeks, and still no noticeable sprouts.

Does Not Work

My daughter eyed this in the store for weeks and I surprised her with it for her birthday. We followed all of the instructions and, like the other reviewers, nothing happened. The seeds do no germinate. Even one star is far too generous for this product.
