"best processor out for your buck! overclocked to 3.8GHz"

I love this processor. A quad core matches a previous generation 8-core dual processor Xeon computer! Wow. What else can I say? Buy it! I have mine overclocked to 3.8 GHz with the Coolermaster V8 Cooler and it screams!

PROS: Faster than anything else STOCK! Easily overclockable on AIR, Great price for what you could only get in an 8 core server before. Fast DDR3 Ram. hyperthreading for 8 virtual cores in desktop machine! I overclocked mine to 3.36GHz with stock Cooler

CONS: need a new motherboard, Ram, along with the processor to upgrade. Runs Hot!

"Do we have a faster O/S ?"

If you can't make windows operating systems any more efficient, or run faster, then why bother? It doesn't matter how fast and how powerful your computer is... you still have to wait for windows to start up !

"I7 920 vs 965xe"

at less than 300 dollars the 920 is btter processor than the 965 when it is overclocked since it is neck to neck in speed an oc 965. faster than the raw 965xe.

Am I wrong in saying that the benchmark tests are skewed here since one was using ddr3 and one using ddr2-800 on an old motherboard?
