Review from a shopper who 'Loved it'
From: Posted: Apr 03, 2007 Type: User Review Greener pastures (not just blue grass)

The other night I watched Alison Krauss on Austin City Limits (on the world's best TV set -- the "Sharp Aquos LC42D62U 42" 1080p LCD HDTV," please see my review for that one.) And I fell in love, all over again with a singer who could one day...

From: Posted: Apr 13, 2007 Type: User Review She's lost her way (temporarily, I hope)

I had such high hopes for this album before it was showed up. Her previous releases with Union Station were artistic wonders - brilliant musicianship and thoughtful lyrics that required repeated listening to fully understand the complex...

Review from a shopper who was 'On the Fence'
From: Posted: Apr 08, 2007 Type: User Review Good But Not Great

This Girl sings like no one else, but this CD could use a little jacking up. If it's mood music you want this may do it but don't look for any peppy stuff in this CD. Had I heard what was on it I would have passed it up.

Review from a shopper who 'Loved it'
From: Posted: Oct 25, 2006 Type: User Review A brilliant debut...

I first met Taylor at CMA Music Fest in June and I was instantly impressed by how sweet and down to earth she was. Soon after, I heard "Tim McGraw" on the radio for the first time and was hooked. I ran out right after work yesterday to pick up...

Review from a shopper who 'Hated it'
From: Posted: Dec 17, 2007 Type: User Review The 'Voice of Mediocrity'

It's puzzling to really find what anyone see's in this girl. The theme of her material has very little range, her voice included. Vocally Swift is extremely weak, aided largely on her cd by 'studio tweaking' to enhance those limited vocals....

Review from a shopper who was 'On the Fence'
From: Posted: Oct 24, 2006 Type: User Review Dreadfully boring.

I bought this CD because of the song Tim McGraw. There really isn't anything special about it, or unique about any of the songs. It could just be one monotonous track. I don't recommend buying.

Review from a shopper who 'Loved it'
From: Posted: Nov 15, 2005 Type: User Review The Whole Package

Review from a shopper who 'Hated it'
From: Posted: Nov 15, 2005 Type: User Review Disappointing

This album is like Carrie - sweet, innocent and completely with substance. If you like fluffy, light country-pop, you'll love this, but if you're looking for the future of country music, I'd say look elsewhere.

From: Posted: Nov 16, 2005 Type: User Review One of the strongest American Idol albums

I was a Bo fan and thought Carrie is just a decent talent, but Some Hearts is better than I thought it would be. This IS middle of the road pop/country, but the lyrics are not fluffy or pro-tooled, and the songs allow Carrie to show her...

Review from a shopper who 'Loved it'
From: Posted: Jun 19, 2007 Type: User Review FIRMLY WITHIN THE GENRE

Like everything else from Brad Paisley, 5th GEAR delivers and in true country style. With so many country artists trying to work things from every angle possible, it's nice to see a country singer who is content to stay firmly within his genre....

Review from a shopper who 'Hated it'
From: Posted: Jul 25, 2007 Type: User Review Not nearly as good as previous cds

This whole cd is bland compared to the previous releases. There just aren't as many great guitar licks and the mixing doesn't sound as good to me. On top of that, they lyrics are clever but too racy for my younger children.
