This phone is junk. The handsets forget that they belong to the base unit frequently, so it is likely that you will not be able to place or take a call from anywhere other than the base unit without reconfiguring the hand set at the base unit....

If you take the handset far from the base it wont work. Sometimes I have trouble hearing the answering machine and the receiver.
