My $15 Uniden works better than this. Horrible range and sound quality. Panasonic customer service warrenty department the worst. They want customer to pay shipping charges to return the new defective phone, and will replace only (no refunds) with a

Replaced my Vtech with this model
I am very happy, only thing missing is a backlight for the key pads, when answering the phone in a dark room or trying to dial out you cannot see the buttons and my Vtech had backlite buttons BUT my Vtech did not have talking caller ID, love that fea

Excellent performance-zero complaint since put to use 20 days ago.
Most electronic items tend to give trouble-that is if at all they trouble-during the 'burn-in' phase. (The bath-tub failure curve !) I guess that phase is over by now! Havenot checked the range by taking the handset on road , hence can not commit on

Feedback and Static
Very displeased with this phone. I hear feedback as I'm speaking. There's static in the base when the phone rings, when I dial, and as I hang it up. For the price of this phone I expect quality. It's being returned.
