PROS: Instant warm-up makes copying convenient whenever you need it. Good copy quality. Good contrast control. Good value. CONS: Can't reduce or enlarge. Can't copy larger than 8.5'x11' (can't make legal size copies)

The first one I owned lasted 1 year. The second one I owned lasted 7 mos. I will never own anything Canon makes again. Both copiers after a time would just not turn on anymore.

Even though you probably can shop around and find the e-Studio162 desktop copier from Toshiba for one-third to one-half off its $1,495 suggested retail price, it remains an expensive option that probably will only appeal to the busiest SOHO settings.
