Works very well as advertised for PC. Issues with Mac.
If you are using this machine with PCs, it is really a great machine that works exactly as advertised (At least with Windows XP). Some reviewers have complained that it does not scan over the network or to USB... but those are not listed...

This printer starts fast and the print quality is good. The half full starter toner is kind of a rip-off.

As a rule of thumb, when you see an all-in-one (AIO) with a network connector, you can assume it's meant primarily for sharing. There are exceptions, however. The Canon imageClass MF4270 ($299 list) is a case in point. It offers essentially the same
PROS: Fast print speed. Duplex (two-sided) printing. Standalone copying and faxing. 35-page automatic document feeder.
CONS: Can't scan over network. Text is a touch below par for a laser.
