The Rocky Road to Romance
When the delightful, daffy Dog Lady of station WZZZ offered to take on the temporary job of traffic reporter, Steve Crow tried to think of reasons to turn Daisy Adams down. Perhaps he knew that sharing the close quarters of a car with her for hours would give the handsome program director no room to resist her quirky charms. He'd always favored low-slung sportscars and high-heeled women, but that was before he fell for a free spirit who caught crooks by accident, loved old people and pets, and had just too many jobs!
Loving Daisy turned Steve's life upside down, especially once he adopted Bob, a huge dog masquerading as a couch potato. But was Daisy finally ready to play for keeps?
Her tall, dark, and deliciously dangerous boss . . .

Evanovich Style and Class... or Sass?
You can see Evanovich was bursting with talent before she even created Stephanie Plum! I can definately see how these aren't the typical "romance novels" but they're just as sexy. Evanovich provides an excellent plot that is always very funny....

Pre-Plum Fun
This book was written before Stephanie Plum had been created, but was later re-released. I'm so glad it was put on the market again! It's great to read the stuff that Janet wrote before Stephanie, but to get an idea of where the Plum series...

Light-fluff, feel-good romance
This fast-paced book was a bit hokey, which made it hard to get into at first, but the characters were so likable and there was lots of action balancing the romance, that I really enjoyed reading it! Probably my least favorite of the Janet...

Adorable characters that readers will love!
Daisy Adams is the "Dog Lady" of radio station WZZZ. Surely anything has to beat pushing tasty canine recipes over the airwaves. So when a job for a roving traffic reporter opens, she jumps at it--despite the fact that she's already juggling...

Lightweight but amusing
This is a re-issue of an earlier book. Janet Evanovich used to focus more on the romance and less on the plot in the earlier books. If you can put that aside, it is a funny book.

So bad I couldn't finish it
I love Janet Evanovich. I find her very funny and an easy mindless read but the beginning of this book was so contrived I could not even stand to continue. I have read just about all of her books and enjoyed if not loved them but this one, bad...

Makes you laugh out loud and feel tons better...
When the bad weather of Hurricane Ivan tore through western North Carolina, leaving us without power for three days in a row, I picked up a copy of "The Rocky Road to Romance" in between shopping for eatable things that would last longer than five...

ROCKY ROAD TO ROMANCE
While you can tell that Evanovich did not have the experiance she does now, the book was delightful. Light entertainment with some mystery to it. The characters were likable and amusing. Do not read if you have just had surgery--you can not...

Good Story ...
I liked this novel. The characters were solid and felt real. The dialog was fresh. I like less sex in my stories and more creative story telling and this one had that.
