Don't waste your money-just go to author's website
I was fairly disappointed in this book. It over and over again states the need for green living but states little on affordable ways to go green. Most of us interested in reading books on green living GET IT. We don't need to be convinced over and over again. Thats why we bought the book....

A great guide to green living
As the owner and operator of a green house/window cleaning company in San Francisco, I have read a myriad of books on the subject of green living, and I have to say that this is one of my favorites. It has served as a guide for helping me to further make my life environmentally friendly. It's...

A So So Book
I was not very satisfied with this book. Even though it is only a couple of years old, it seems to miss some very important things. I was hoping this book would give a better refrence to things than it did, such as recipies for cleaners, diy projects and the like. However, it was a more of an...

Important Read...
I first saw this book at my doctor's office, and knew I needed to add this to my ever growing library of books on 'greening' our lives. I've done extensive research on living healthier and less toxic lives. We recently completed building a green home and I give talks to groups about how...

Good Intro to Living Green
This is a good introductory book for individuals who are not familiar with this topic. I didn't learn anything new but I felt that I would have if I was new to "Living Green".

Disappointing and redundant
The author's personal story was interesting and was a good example of what can and will happen if we continue to live in a toxic world. I would consider this book more of a primer instead of a "good or interesting read". I found the author's information and use of examples redundant. I would...

Pretentious
I was looking for a book to actually provide information on sustainability rather then a book packed with suggestions on becoming a toxin-phobe. Some of the suggestions were helpful, but not for a beginner in gaining insight and understanding on why to begin living green. Instead the book shut me...

Reading this cannot hurt!
I have now purchased 5 copies of this book. Living Green is a very simple book, outlining many concerns of unhealthy living. There is no way I could possible do all of the green suggestions mentioned in this book, but after reading this book, I know I can do my part. I've passed this book on...
