I agree with the other reviewers..better sound systems out there but not for this price. Got it fo $40.00 at a brick and mortar store. (cheaper than online w/shipping) Was gonna get the X-140 speakers but this was on sale for $10.00 more and easily

PROS: Easy to set-up, nice bass, can get pretty loud without distortion...

CONS: I am a little puzzled why they did'nt put a grill to protect the sub-speaker...just be careful moving it around...

PROS: Good sound when cranked up, mediocre muffled base

CONS: i-pod dock flimsy and difficult to utilize, crackling in speakers when using volume knob, subwoofer hums quite loudly when on destroying any low level volume gaming, tons of wire due to satellite volume control all going back to sub.

Very Good speaker system

Good sound for a speaker set this size; plenty of volume and quite clear when playing ipod tunes. I particularly like that when its charger is plugged in to a wall outlet it charges its own battery and the ipod battery as well.

best battery operated iPod speakers!

I lost my first speakers and bought a second set. For their size the quality is fantastic and they can run on batteries, which was a major selling point for me. They're small enough to travel with and I take them everywhere.
