Bottom line is originally this was a great camera. However, I bought it from "Trusted Dealer" with the addition of a Safco 5-year warrantly. So far I have experieced fruitless customer service from both and am seriously disapointed....

For point and shoot or manual controls, it is hard to get more features in a camera this size. The hi-def video and 10x optical zoom are unmatched. Have used it for 2 years and it looks and works like new.

- Great picture quality... I still like this camera a lot despite the fact that I had to send it back for repairs.
Unfortunately, I only had this camera for less than a week before the LCD went out on me. Obtaining service for the broken camera was certainly a bit of a hassle and I had to pay for shipping back to Canon. Regardless, the video quality...
