The author took 2 Chronicles 7:14 out of context. Specifically, he mistook, "my people" to mean any saved Christian. However God was talking to the rebellious Jews, not saved Jews. On top of that, he implied that the people of a country (if the saved persons in it prayed and fasted) would be...
