- Entertaining read!
Very entertaining for both child and parent. My 16 month old daughter loves it -- she especially likes the big eyes and faces on some of the people. I like the story and the black and white photos. It's also a nice change to have a kids'...

- The kids ask for it over and over again!
The Sepia-tone photographs of a Brooklyn neighborhood provide the backdrops for the hand-drawn artwork in this book - it is really an adorable and humorous combination. The personalities of each family member are ones in which you can...

- Eh, it's ok . . .
I know Mo Willems has a caldecott for his pidgeon book, but this one about the MIA bunny toy is not particularly engaging. My nearly 2 yr old daughter likes it ok, but it's not a favorite. I think it's a bit overrated.

- Big DISSAPOINTMENT!
This book is a big diappointment. I was hesitant to order it whithout being able to see it in person first because I was a little concerned that Trixie's "baby talk" babbles (as noted in other reviews) would be too babyish for my very...
