Everyone Poops (My Body Science Series)
"Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi is part biology textbook, part sociological treatise and all celebration of a very natural process. Both my daughters begged me to read the book over and over again. They marveled at the enormity of the elephant's poop and searched with the skill of a scientist for the tiny specks which represent bug poop. The text is simple and straightforward but not without humor. more

This is just plain gross
I happened across this book while helping clean up the library at a local rescue mission. My group and I looked through the book and couldn't stop laughing. The faces of the animals whas just...well...alittle too much information and then, if that wasn't enough, they show a picture of a grown man...

Dumb little picture book of poop
A complete waste of ink and paper. Why this book was published defies logic.I can't believe all the donkeys who gave this thing a positive review. How the book ever sold a copy is a mystery.

For slow adults too
I bought this book for my 2 year old but he didn't like it at all-- just cried everytime I opened it. So what I did was take it down to the DAC (daily activity center) where I work part time with developmentally disabled people. They really get a kick out of it. They not only laugh, but it...

ugh!
This book was... interesting. We by no means are "prude" in our house, everything is discussed and by the time we bought this book, we were up for anything to get our little man to poop in the big boy potty. Everyone poops was amusing in that it showed the many different ways animals poop, but we...

A fun facilitation of body consciousness and comfort
I have seen some reviewers' discontent with this book's lack of explanation/purpose/facts. Let me begin by saying that this book is ideal for toddlers, when too many words can be overwhelming. :) I don't think the purpose of this book is to describe in detail the workings of the digestive tract....

book is ok but not top quality
I bought this book for my almost 2 year old daughter for Christmas. I'm only disappointed that the book they sent me had air bubbles all over the cover. Of course my daughter doesn't care, but its the second time that I've received merchandise from Amazon that was not top quality. The other time...

An Elegant and Delightful Read
Last summer, on our way to Brighton, Elaine, my wife of eighteen years and six months, and our children, Trevor, Gladys, and Glenys saw a flock of geese flying above us, making their way to the sea, as we were.Whilst flying, the flock chanced (albeit seemingly deliberately) to splatter our...

From a kids perspective
This childrens book has the special quality of delivering factual & honest information in a way that really holds a childs attention. Just explains the basics in a no BS way that kids respond to well. It does not cover up or hide pooping in a complex storyline or glittery pictures.

Excellent for young wildlife biologists!
My justturned3 yr old son just loves this book. He is already pottytrained (and also uses the big toilet) but loves the affirmation this book gives. He already knows mommy poops and his doggy poops (we have to pick it up!) but this shows that all animals eat (and shows various foods being munched...

cute book
My son had me read this over and over again. He thinks it is so funny. Especially how the elephant has big poop and the mouse has tiny poop. Although it hasn't helped him get potty trained yet, we both have fun reading it.
