Whoopi's Big Book of Manners
?In her enthusiastically irreverent style, Whoopi schools kids on a bevy of oh-so-important manners like...courtesy words, cleaning up after oneself, covering one's mouth, knocking, how (and how not) to interrupt, apologizing, table manners, cell phone use, rudeness at the movies, how to be a good sport, respectful things to do when visiting another country, and the all-too-crucial... When and when not to stick anything up one's nose!
It's an intoxicating dose of etiquette for kids, laced with Whoopi's hysterical how-tos and Olo's energetic illustrations.

Tame Wild Children!
I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my great grandson and was so pleased when I had a chance to look at it. It is funny and the illustrations are great! A friend who is a librarian said she was going to order it for the library because she was certain the children would enjoy it. It...

WHOOPIE'S BIG BOOK OF MANNERS
Just wanted to comment on the two negative reviews...it's a cultural thing I've read about in travel articles. Unless you burp after a meal in Korea or slurp your food in China, your host will be insulted thinking you didn't enjoy your meal.

Whoopi's Big Book of Manners
I picked this up at the bookstore, just shopping for books for my 5 year old granddaughter. She and her mother read it together, and she loved it. She was so excited about it, that she brought it downstairs to "read" to me. The illustrations are great, and the surprise at the end really made...

My Review
It's a shame that we have people who look up to this person. After seeing the way she behaves herself on "The View" I've come to realize that she is nothing more than a racist pig.

Whoopi Goldberg
Good book. Whoopi Goldberg has a way of talking that usually makes sense. Now that she's on "The View", it reminds me of her former talk show, that was a pleasant and enjoyable show. It's been interesting listening to Whoopi Goldberg talk about Hillary Clinton for President. Did you know that...

Super Book
Whoopi got it right. I think young children today are NOT getting taught manners and many adults are losing the manners they were taught. Great book then to read to your children for their education and for adults a refresher.

Since when is RACISM good manners?
This book starts off like an innocuous book of basic etiquette and light-hearted humor, but when I came across a comment in the middle of the book stating that it was not polite to burp in public, "unless you're in Korea", and it's not good manners to slurp your food "unless you're in China", I...

Manners Manual for Kids & Parents
Very entertaining way to help your children learn how to be "polite". Excellent illustrations bring home the points of "Please, thank you, excuse me,".... and more. Fun to read and then discuss.
