Have you filled a bucket today: A guide to daily happiness for kids
This book is a wonderful addition to my first grade classroom. I noticed my students using the language of the book, being a 'bucket filler' or a 'bucket dipper' right away. They picked up on the meaning of the book and really tried to fill each others buckets every day. These phrases and...

We love this book
We love this book and use its concept all the time. My five year old brought it in for his "book report" and the teacher loved it, I ended up then lending it to two moms who thought it was fantastic. The concept that everything you do and say can either fill or empty someone's bucket was great...

Very nice story
I bought this to have something to read to my friends kids when they are visiting (mine have flown the nest now). It's a nice story - good message. Nothing complicated here but sweet.

Great buy!
My 5 1/2 yr old step-daughter enjoyed this book a lot. She wanted us to read it to her every night after we received it. She also insisted on taking it to the day-care for her teacher to read. I definitely recommend this book. It has a great lesson behind it on being kind to others and the...

Great for classroom guidance!
I'm an elementary guidance counselor, and I used this book to explain to students why it is so important to treat each other with respect and love. It's only been a month, but it sure seems to have made the point... they're all trying to "fill buckets" throughout the school!

Filling Buckets
I absolutely would recommend this book to anyone with toddlers. My 3 and 5 year olds are always telling on each other when they are "emptying" buckets. It great to remind them that they have the ability to fill them right back up by being, or saying something nice. So far, it does the trick....
