Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy
Fancy Nancy is back! And when her family decides to get a dog, she's certain she can be fancier than ever. After all, a papillon?a small, delicate, fluffy dog?is the ultimate accessory. But her family wants a large, plain dog. How unglamorous! With Fancy Nancy's trademark humor and warmth, Nancy discovers that real fanciness does not depend simply on appearance but more on a genuine joie de vivre, which is a fancy phrase for having lots of fun.

Not Just Another Story
This book is typical of the Fancy Nancy series. It presents a pleasant interesting story written as a "read to" book for pre school and early schoolage girls. The BIG plus is that the story includes vocabulary enrichment as integral part of the experience. It becomes an extra challenge to...

Great book!
I've read this to my four year old so much I think I almost have it memorized. She is a huge Fancy Nancy fan. Cute story, and I love that it teaches kids that if things don't work out the way you want them to there may be another solution that will be just as good, or maybe even better....

Positively Fancy
In this story fancy Nancy is excited because her family is going to get a dog. But she wants a fancy little dog she can dress up and accessorize. However after looking after a dog that is just like the one she wants, she realizes that maybe their family needs something different. Read this book,...

Precious
My daughter giggled as I read this one! The pictures are, of course, gorgeous and the story is so cute! (Too bad I'm allergic to dogs or we might have had to go find our own Posh Puppy!)

Good lesson on pet care and family
This was the perfect book to show our daughter why the cutest, fuzziest animal wasn't neccessarily the best match for our family and lifestyle. Funny scenes and storyline, Fancy Nancy learns it best to adopt a dog that fits with her family, not her ideal Fancy world.

Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy
Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy is a most delightful book with wonderful illustration, which any little girl will enjoy. I bought this book for my five-year-old neighbor whom I adore. She has so much in commen with Nancy; expressing herself through some strange combinations of outfits, she then...

If your daughter insists on being fancy, this is the series to help her learn to be herself, too.
My daughter always tells me that I look like the mother in this story, "you know, not fancy at all." I somehow managed to rear a child who wears pink every day and owns five pairs of fairy wings. While I want to encourage her to be her authentic self, I also want her to think for herself and be...

Great Addition to Daughter's Personal Library
This is our second Fancy Nancy book. My girls have asked me to read this book to them nearly every evening since we've gotten it two weeks ago. I think they like this one even more than the first one we got (Bonjour, Butterfly). It teaches fancy words like the other book, but also teaches a...
