Junie B. jones is awesome
My girls just love the books and all the things Junie B gets up to. I love how they can relate to what she experiences and understand the lessons learned. Great stories! We read every night for 30 minutes. Fun!

I bought a series of Junie B. Jones books based on the positive things I had heard about them. My daughter started out with Dr. Suess books, which had words you could'nt find in a dictionary....but were fun to read. Junie B. is no different, except the words are advanced as they should be...also fun to read(you'll really actually laugh). Since my 6 y/o will be starting first grade, this...

Beware of these books
If you want your child to acquire misspelling, a warped grammar and bad habits, then go ahead and buy these books. Written by an author who obviously has not mastered correct English language you will be able to counteract all your kids' teacher's efforts. Have fun.

Not impressed
I bought these books because a friend said they were great however I cannot continue to read these to my daughter. Junie is 5 years old but as smart/mature as a 2 year old. Also the language is terrible because she is constantly calling children "stupid, fat & dumb" and she HATES everything....

I haven't read it but......
I haven't read this series of books, but, being the Grandfather of an avid Junie B. Jones reader, my impression is that the books are absolute heaven. Now I'm locked into supplying each series as the prior series is finished. ;=)
