A perfect first checkers game
This checkers set is perfect for toddlers. The key to this set is that, unlike a slick game board, the pieces will not slide around, making it frustrating for little ones to keep track of their pieces. My five year old wants to play this game every day, and he often beats me if I'm not paying...

checkers for toddlers
My toddler has been reading books about checkers, but it isn't safe for him to e around a regular game. I was thrilled to find giant size checkers with a rug for a board. We're having fun (though he still can't grasp the concept of the actual game!)
