At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.
This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

I bought 2 sets to replace factory speakers of my 2006 Honda Odyssey. The factory speakers are very very light and cheap made. This is my first time to replace the speakers of any car. The instructions and the kits came with the speakers made very ea

good speakers, decent to replace stock speakers w/ stock deck. better if amplified. better if after market deck w/ equalizer. if you are rich, go for a component system, polk style!

I purchased these speakers for my 99 Jimmy. I had the 5.5 in my VW Jetta in was impressed. This I am not. The bass is flat but the highs are clean. Maybe it's the factory-installed radio. ????? The installation kit was not complete. Thanks goodness I

Pretty good replacements
About a year ago I got a new Kenwood head unit and Crutchfield threw in a pair of Kenwood speakers. I used those to replace the front speakers in my car, and got just a bit better mids and highs, though I lost a lot of bass. Last month I bought a pai

Decent factory replacement
Initially, I was disappointed in the overall sound as compared to the factory speakers in the RSX because the Polks had significantly less bass. I had trouble believing those feather-weight speakers were better, so I decided to give the Polks a chan

Clear and crisp
These speakers worked very well in my 2004 Honda Civic 4-door sedan LX. I am very happy with the quality, sound and appearance of them though they are hidden within my car's panels.

Slim fit - but lacks punch
The speakers are nice and have clean sound. I put them into my stock locations for my 06 Beetle and they improved the sound, but lost a big chunk of bass. Ended up adding a subwoofer to round out the system (on its way this week). If you have limi
