Available in either pink or purple, Motorola's U9 is not going to attract shy and retiring people. The quad-band clamshell handset is definitely designed for those with more outgoing personality types. Its key feature is not the colour, though. The

PROS: VERY sturdy (I've dropped this phone on gravel, hard wood, and concrete more than once and the only evidence is a few minor scratches on the stainless steel surface), very easy-to-use keypad
CONS: Battery life begins to wane significantly after about a year and a half depending on how consistent you've been with charging it. Let it charge every night, and you'll get prolonged battery life.

PROS: I like this phone for its' ability to accurately sync with Outlook and with my Ford INSYNC Bluetooth. The phone is programmable (Windows 6.0) and upgradable to Windows 6.1. If you use voice-activated dialing, you will find this phone convenient.
CONS: External (speakerphone) speaker is usable but not good quality. If you are a heavy text messager- then you may find this phone's soft button features inconvenient. The ability to use VZ Navigator (Verizon GPS) has been allowed with Windows 6.1.
