I've been with US Cellular for over 6 years. Only dropped calls are when I go into a Jewel Food Store. If the pricing on the extras were not so much, I'd go there. That is typical for all carriers though.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to go in for this model if you live at a place with a lot of moisture. The phone is not resistant to moisture like other models. The 6270 is pretty good otherwise packed with great features.

PROS: The phone's got great features. The loudspeaker and the media player is exceptional. The camera is pretty good although the night and flash could have been better.
CONS: I used the phone for around 4 months at Mussoorie, India... it's a hill station. The moisture at the hill station really spoilt Nokia 6270 which disappointed me. There were problems with the keypad. The sliding panel doesn't give you a great feel too. The

CONS: I purchased this phone believing it was an upgrade from its predecessor, the 6230i. It is in fact a downgrade as you are unable to make personalised voice tags. This means that your voice needs to match that of stephen hawking in order to make a call.
