Fails to maintain or fulfill basic operating expectations. Have a backup computer handy if you get a zd7000.

PROS: Wide screen, fast
CONS: have had it in the repair shop more than at home. Jack is weakest link in this model. HP should fix this problem for cost. Repairing this laptop has cost me more than just $, its eaten up months of my time.

I have been using this drive for over two years as it came with my toshiba tecra a2 and never has it given me any sorta problems unless the cd itself is damaged. overall a good reliable drive which serves its purpose well.
