The Dell™ CD-RW/DVD Slim Internal Combination Drive brings all the advantages of a CD-RW, a DVD-ROM and a CD-ROM to a single drive. This drive allows you to have CD-RW and DVD-ROM functionality in a single bay, freeing up space for other devices. It offers 24X CD write, CD rewrite and CD read speeds and 8X DVD read speeds. The drive incorporates a buffer memory of 2 MB and features ATAPI interface for easy installation and high data transfer rates. It uses a simple motor-powered mechanism to open and close its tray, and a two-way disc ejection system comprising software, and emergency eject hole.
