NOT A BAD UNIT BUT SHOP AROUND FIRST
THIS MACHINE MAKES IT EASY TO COPY CD'S BUT IT ISNT PERFECT, SOMETIMES SHE WILL FALL SHORT OF REPRODUCING THE ENTIRE DISC, IT WILL COPY 10 OUT OF 14 SONGS FOR NO APPERENT REASON, ALTHOUGH IT FAIRLY SIMPLE TO USE IT DONT THINK ITS WORTH THE 300 DOLLA

Nice product
Nice product but the CD player is not very accessible. It doesn't open very wide and is at an awkward angle. I manage a pool and needed a boom box for the sound system. This had the features I needed.

Burned 30 discs so far. No problems at all. Very happy with unit. Excellent value.

Doesn't use CD-R & CD-RW store bought CD's. Must be CD-DA compatible.

Excellent recorder. Instruction book is very poorly written, difficult to understand
CD quality is excellent once you master the operation of the recorder. The instructions are hazy and causes one to fumble around a bit during the learning process, Once mastered, it's a good machine.

Maybe the next one will be better
So far it's a bomb. Can't get the CD burner to work which was the only reason I bought. Sony usually makes a good product so I'm going to exchange the one I got in hopes that just this CD burner is defective.

Great value; maybe not for everybody.
I'm giving this 5 stars based solely on the sound quality-to-value ratio. I purchased this boom box for my adolescent daughter and she loves it. And I have to say I am impressed with the clarity, detail and (dare I say it) imaging this unit...
