The 2U rack-mountable player offers a wealth of useful features such as shuffle play, program play, repeat single, and repeat all for regular and MP3 CDs, and repeat folder/album for MP3 CDs. It also has 40 seconds of built-in electronic shock protection to ensure smooth playback in all conditions. In addition to the optical and coaxial S/PDIF digital outputs, the CD-160mkII has a stereo RCA output for connection to an analog system. The 1/4 headphone output has its own level control. The included wireless remote allows you to jump to a track directly using the numeric keypad. For simple, reliable playback of regular and MP3 CDs, look no further than the CD-160mkII. Has problems with CDRs

This unit has difficulty buffering data in what is called ESP (Electronic Shock Protection) mode when playing back CDRs burned as an audio CD. I'm guessing it is a software issue with that feature.
