Airdate 2/22/09 Why have 100 college presidents signed a petition to lower the drinking age from 21 to 18? They argue that underage college students are drinking anyway, but are doing so underground, which leads to dangerous "extreme drinking" and, sometimes, death. So would lowering the drinking age to 18 keep kids safer? Mothers Against Drunk Driving say such a shift would be deadly. Lesley Stahl reports.
