for the price these speakers are ok I have 2 hooked up to a Pioneer Premier amp and the amp will smoke these speakers. Spend a little more and upgrade to some premier speakers as well.

Please don't buy this speaker, it's a fake, burn in minutes. I repair and burn again in minutes, it's a factory problem in this model. I LOOSE MY MONEY.

These sub's have a nice clean sound. I would say they are very good for beginners. If you want more power these are not for you. I would recommend these for your fisrt system or a very small car that plays not too much heavy bass based music.
