awesome sound but cumbersome ipod control

this head unit sounds incredible! very customizable visually. the unit has tons of audiophile features. if you have a sub the lack of bass control is replaced with the sub control. running full range speakers only?.....now it gets a little more involved. you will have to adjust the EQ and thats...

Very good Head Unit

This is a powerful head unit. pure sound and control -time alignment, X-over, Parametric EQI 'm happy to have it.But there are some disadvantages 1-Remote control lacks some important features , especially when dealing with Ipod.2-Bluetooth car kit is very bad , I don't know how Alpine did...

sold my cda-9835 after 5 years of constant abuse it still worked and sounded the same as the day i bought it, so a preventitive measure was to relace it with the cda-9887 and i am so happy i did , i really like the sound..

Dont push the Multi EQ. All functions of the unit are disabled. No more bass or trebel control. Its called IMPRINT and now you will have to spend another 250 dollars to program the thing. Theres no ESC or reset or remove power that will undue this p
