Didn't work in my car and it needed more.

This was returned. The placement was wrong for my ipod touch and it's proximity to the stick shift. I wasn't sure it would work but decided to try it anyway. Too bad because the product is well designed and built and worked well. I would highly recommend this if you have the room.

I've tried a couple other FM transmitters (cheap Walmart ones like Belkin), but a lot of static and did not charge Ipod (though stated so on package). I researched reviews and this unit got mostly 4 to 5 star reviews, other than a couple people complaining it quit working soon after using it....

Macally Manages Mobile Music Magically* - Five Stars!

This is an inexpensive gem for docking ipod portably to your older, no external option car stereo. It secures, nicely proximate to the general local of the dash and settles into production a strong FM signal for great sound. Now my old truck sounds as good as our newer car. Highly recommended.
