Switch to EXT-IN if you connect an iPod

I've had this unit in my Sienna for about a year now, and it has worked great. My only gripe is the iPod control (via the JVC KS-PD100) is horrible. I've recently switched the unit from iPod to EXT-IN which gives me back control on the iPod. I should have done that a year ago! The unit works...

Really great setup!!

First I have to praise the customer support! First time installing a stereo and these guys came through big. Crutchfield's support is second to none! Now I've installed this unit in a Nissan Pathfinder 01'. It has the Bose system and the VCR/Monitor also. Factory 6 disc CD player went out....

You won't find a better system in this price range

I fully agree with the previous review. It's definetly worth every penny.The sound quality is crystal clear. I still have the original factory speakers in my 10 year old car but they sound great with this unit. It's pretty loud too so I don't need a separate amp.There's only a few tiny drawbacks....

I originally got this unit knowing from the reviews about the flaws, but i didn't think it would really bother me. Turns out it really is annoying. Pros: Can play 500+ mp3's/wma's songs on recorded dvd Cons: radio reception is extremly poor, The cons outweigh the pros. Note: I use this as an mp3/ wma player not as a movie player. Every time the car is turned off and back on again the song that was playing starts at the beginning again....
