I have to admitt when I first saw the product I was taken by the look of it. Anyway, the remote control works when it wants to and not very receptive. However the sound is economically good. It's a good starter kit for the beginner....

I like this DVD player a lot. The video and sound quality is excellent. Definitely one of a kind. Like the fact that it doesn't take up the whole dash and restricts mr from climate control options. Only complaint is that MP3 memory...

JVC positions the KD-AVX1 as an in-dash, DVD-playing car radio replacement. Right. As if you'd be happy moving from a 50-inch HDTV at home to a 3-inch TFT in the car.
