Pacific Accessory TR-7 Car Security System

The TR-7 is a universal trigger output module that has various user programmable features combined into one unit. The user programmable features are stored in non volatile memory. When triggered, the TR-7 can turn on the outputs as a pulsed, latched or a timed output. The TR-7 combines many features into one box. The TR-7 will cover more than 16 different parts, including: Low voltage trigger. Gives you +12v output from headunits that do not have a remote output Alpine CVA-1005, CVA-1006, IVA-C800, IVA-801, CVA-1003 Video Bypass Latching outputs Double Pulse Output Pulse Extender Horn Honking Output Linear Actuator Controller Doorlock Pulse Generator Channel Splitter Pulses to Constant output 3 in 1 timer outputs Pulses to latch/unlatch outputs Pulses to pulse output Pulses to timed output Latching outputs #2 Turn on pop delay Delayed amp turn off Now that's a lot of stuff in a small package with only 7 wires. How's that possible? Its all done through programming. Microcontroller based means no potentiometer to adjust for timers. Setting the timer output is all done through programming. Miracle worker loses 1 star for quitting after a few months

The default setting disables all the moving car restrictions for the Alpine head unit. Don't dwell on the DVD player running down the road, you can't even set the clock without this unit or finding and splicing a number of important vehicle wires...no thanks.Anyway, this unit works right out of...

works great!

I bought this product to watch video on my Alpine IVA-W505 when the vehicle is in motion. It was easy to install and came preprogramed for this task. It can also be programed to do about a million other tasks. Programing other tasks is easy with the included instructions.

Works perfectly
