Chrome Can Openers

In my humble opinion when it comes to can openers, the manual variety is best! Growing up in the 80s my diet pretty much consisted of nutrition that was delivered in the form of cans. Hey, it was the 1980s both parents were working and it was the era of shoulder pads, power suits and disco. Its no small miracle that I was fed at all.That said, our house came with an electronic can opener already attached to the cabinet in the kitchen. At first I thought it was cool, even swanky. Fast forward 2 years and the thing was ripe with rust, shards of left over tin can and god knows what else. Since then I have sworn off electronic can openers.However my current dilemma is much like socks the can openers always seems to go missing! We have one of those can openers that has a bottle opener at the end, which I think is the reason it continuously goes wanting.
