This is the perfect camera for a child starting out. It is durable, it takes nice pictures,and It has a view screen which is all my 5 yr old really cares about. This is a great way to teach kids how to be resposible with electronics.

3 yr old daughter loves this camera. She learned how to operate the camera, i.e. taking pictures and deleting unwanted ones, with little to no instruction. View screen could be larger with more pix.
