If this camera was made by Aiptek it would cost $130...but with Canon it's double that. The build quality reflects this though. For almost 3 Benjamins they could have brought 720p to the party. Great zoom but the 'jaggies' are so bad it's almost not

The Canon FS200 is a standard-definition camcorder with a 37x optical zoom in a very compact body. That's not as megazoomy as Panasonic's H80 or Sony's SR47 , but that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially since there's no optical image stabiliza

"Great value for the price"

After comparing similar Sony, Samsung, and Panasonic flash camcorders in the same price range, the Canon was definitely the best of the bunch.

"Very handy, fits in coat pocket, zoom is awesome."

I take a lot of videos of Railroads and post them on Youtube! The Kodak Z740 I was using would not allow zooming while filming, the Canon zooms smooth and fast, it can be set in several options.
