These, my friend, are tapes. What they do is record images and sound onto a magnetic tape located inside said tape. That is where the name came from. This pack has three of these bad boys. If they fit the unit you use, then buy them...now! Cheap...

I bought 3's pack and two tapes in that were defective. So i ended up getting one tape for price of three..

They were free!
I got these tapes with two rebates, so they ended up being free. They do the job the same as any other DVC tapes. Only those with too much time on their hands would probably see the difference between tape brand quality.
