Beware this is not a small cable. The housing is thicker than my iPod Classic and the whole thing dwarfs my wife's iPod Nano. The sync cable that comes with the iPod is smaller to pack.

Despite the bad points this is still the daddy of all mp3 players. So what if it scratches a bit - you listen to it not look at it right ?? Battery life is not that bad as its made out to be. Its very easy to get to your music and it sounds great

CONS: Scratches easily, not as 'open' as other mp3 players, not great video quality if displayed on a TV, earphones are OK but not great

PROS: Small
CONS: vastly overpriced. Broke after 4 months. Now use an Isdigo 0.5GB from Argos at 9.95. Just as good and takes AAA batteries so do not require a computer to recharge.

PROS: I love my new ipod video 5g, it's brilliant it looks great, probably the best gadget out right now and gets all my friends envious! Major plus point.
CONS: I dont like the way itunes works in updating my songs. Also it can be a pain when i plug it in to a diffrent pc and all my current songs get erased and the others put on. Battery life while watching videos is rubbish. Definitely buy a case to protect your
