Does the job

This is exactly what it says it is, and works great. Prompt delivery. One thing to pay attention to: this is an HDMI male end, so it is designed to plug right into an open HDMI TV port, not to have an HDMI cable plugged into.

Serves its purpose.

I use this adapter with my Playstation 3. I thought that the adapter might block the LAN port (which is right next to the HDMI port on the PS3), but this is not the case. Needless to say, the picture quality is great.

Did not work for me

The connector was in good shape and attached to the DVI and HDMI connectors just fine.However, the adapter was so wide that it blocked the use of adjacent HDMI inputs on the TV. Make sure that you have enough room for this product. Buy a cable with HDMI and DVI connectors if you aren't sure.
