Total con: obsolete item

This does not work on ipods being sold today. It may have worked on first generation ipod with video. Certainly DOES NOT work on new ipod classic OR ipod nano with video. There is NO VIDEO OUTPUT through the headphone socket. you need an apple cable to connect to the long connector to do that....

Great for what I need it for

Doesn't work with latest iPods

Purchased this to go with my new iPod Nano and new 80GB iPod classic, but Apple has changed things, and video is now output through the big long connector on the bottom of the iPod. I emailed the manufacturer about this and never got a response...

Bad Product

All this product does is play audio through your TV. It does not show any video. It was a waste of money.

Very disappointed!

This ipod video accessory is nothing but junk. It is flimsy and cheap in appearance. The first time I pulled out the retractable cords it ceased to roll back. The spring mechanism locked up.I would not reccommend this product!

Compact and works as advertised. May not work with all cases.

One word of caution. The connector on the iPod side is large so it may not be able to work with all cases, it did not with mine. Been using it for about a month now and that is my only complaint.

Inexpensive Alternative

I find this to be an inexpensive alternative to higher-priced cables sold through the manufacturer. I can offer some helpful hints here...if you have satellite tv, the universal remote they give you may not work to switch the tv to AUX...for that I had to use the remote that came with my tv. At...

Universal Retractable Audio/Video Cable

The gaget is good enough for what it is intended, the only problem with it is that it can get stuck or jammed sometimes. The cable is somewhat flimsey, so be extra carefull when pulling & retracting.

Why took me so long........

This is a great accessory to have if you own an iPod, I don't know what took me so long to get one! I use it all the time now and have no need to search through my CDs anymore I just plug it in to my radio (tv to watch videos & movies) and I'm goo to go!!

Ipod audio and video cables

This is a great piece of equipment. I would reccommend this item to anyone who owns an Ipod. I listened to m Ipod through my stereo and the sound quality was fantastic.
