A Plug Adapter is much better than 8 batteries!
I had to use 8 batteries @ every month or two (for the last three years) to keep my unit running...now, by using this new CASIO AD-A12280L AC Adapter CW-75, I have no more worries or concerns! It was very easy to plug into my unit, and everything is bliss. I recommend everyone to buy this...

power cord needed
The power cord is definitely needed for this unit. It will go through batteries really quickly.

Well Worth the Investment.
Cable works fantastic! The printer drinks the batteries, so it's very nice not having to worry about replacing batteries anymore. I didn't realize how much this cable was needed. The overall unit/cable works erffortlessly and awesome!

Better Than Using Batteries
When using batteries, I had nothing but problems. I would constantly get the "low Batt" Message even if the batteries were brand new. The unit would shut off all the time, sometimes in the middle of labeling. I purchased the Casio adapter and everything works perfect. It's well worth the adapter...

Casio Disc Title Printer
I have used my Printer quite frequently in the last year.I had used the option of powering it with batteries until i recently bought the a/c adapter. Now this is the way to go!!I was continously replacing the batteries and Now i don't have to worry .... for the little extra money you invest in...
