locks up regularly requiring manual restart. Sometimes requiring re-configuration/reset. Performance just deteriorates over time. Total waste of many and effort. If it works for anyone else, great - but mine is destined for the trash....

I was previously using a NetGear WGR614 as a WAP - It died after about a year and a half of use. With the WAP54G (V3), my laptop backs up to my desktop in about 1/3 of the time. No dropped connections. No complaints about the setup...

The WAP54G from Linksys is certainly one of the better-dressed access points in this test with its cool two-toned blue and black colour scheme. The WAP54G adopts the 802.11b/g wireless standards offering a maximum bandwidth of 54Mbps...
