"Unreliable, quirky and hopeless"
had this router for 15 months now. Four calls to tech support, much tweaking and fiddling, bottom line: no change. My neighbors wireless connections are all much more reliable. Avoid this product at all costs.

After a few calls, I spoke with a nice woman. The answer to the issues is to upgrade to firmware version 1.4 NOT 1.5, which has issues. You can search around and find the firmware, which is a .bin file. You go into your Dlink 192 page to update the firmware there, browsing for the 1.4 upgrade....

HORRIBLE ITEM DONT BUY!
this is a horrible router! Ever since we bought its been nothing but problems. We had to call DL link customer support and it seemed as if they were making excuses to prevent us from returning our defective one. Finally they sent a new one and a few weeks later the same problems resurfaced!...
